Y1 had a great trip to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. This trip was linked to their current topic βOceans and Continentsβ and a previous science topic βAnimals including humansβ. It also linked to βThe Lion Insideβ a well-loved story from English lessons over the Spring term.
Year 5 enjoyed a visit from Seeds of Hope. They created designs for the show garden, planted seeds and made decorations for the festival. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to develop their creativity and learn more about gardening and the natural environment. π±

We were so lucky to welcome Mr Walters from @FriendsOfCM for a fantastic music performance assembly today! πΆ The children thoroughly enjoyed joining in with the folk songs and were a wonderful audience throughout.Thank you Mr Walters for an engaging and memorable experience!
