Tonight, Miss Cheetham held her first story explorers club of the half term. This week’s theme was pirates. We listened to pirate stories, did some pirate related activities and listened to some sea shanty music. 🏴☠️

What a fantastic first week for Year 3 with our Artist in Residence, Tony Bullock! Tony introduced a range of sketching techniques and artists. Over the half term, they will be developing their skills and exploring landscapes, taking inspiration from artist Nikki Corker.
An exciting start to our new topic! 🪖As Year 6 begin their World War II learning, Ryan shared various WWII newspapers he has collected. The children can't wait to refer back to them throughout the topic this half term. 🌍⭐
