Year 1 had a very interesting and informative morning learning all about the features of a church. Father Michael at St Malachy's was extremely accommodating and the children were a credit to Dean Field. ⛪️
Some of our Year 3 children and their families had a fantastic time at our Anglo-Saxon Family Learning Workshop on Friday! They enjoyed making their own Anglo-Saxon boats and masks. A great morning of creativity! 🎨
Year 2 have had a very exciting day welcoming 8 new fluffy members to their class! We have watched our chicks go through the 'pipping' process to crack open their shells and warm up and dry out in the heat of the incubator while they get stronger! @Livingeggs 🐣🐥 #science
Our Year 3 & 4 pupils started their 6-week programme with @NorthernArtsFac this week as part of A Chance to Dance! 🎭
They’ll be singing and dancing to “Seize the Day” from the musical Newsies.
We can’t wait to see the final performance! ✨ #ChanceToDance #SchoolArts
Thank you @HelpPicture for a fascinating Science Week webinar!! We look forward to carrying out the investigation later on this week! 🌊🐟🦀🐡 @familyoflearni1 #science #scienceweek
Check out Year 2’s amazing artwork! 🎨
The children worked with Mr Bullock, our Artist in Residence, to create portraits of King George III in the style of Alex Scheffler. We think they’re absolutely fab! 👑✨
