Teacher Profiles

I am incredibly proud to be the Headteacher of Dean Field Community Primary School and to serve such a supportive school community. I have worked within The Family of Learning Trust since 2018 and am truly dedicated to changing the lives of the community I serve. I firmly believe that every child deserves the very best opportunities in life and that strong partnerships between home and school are key to achieving this.

Dean Field is a warm, inclusive and ambitious school with high expectations for all. Our ethos of Learning Without Limits underpins everything we do and we are committed to going above and beyond to ensure that every child is given the very best start in life. We encourage our pupils to be curious, to explore, and to develop a love of learning through a wide range of engaging opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.

Our staff work hard to create a calm, nurturing environment where respect, positive relationships and high standards are evident in everything we do. Our curriculum is broad, engaging and carefully designed to inspire our pupils and meet their needs, with meaningful links made across subjects to deepen understanding and bring learning to life. At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to pupil wellbeing, ensuring that every child feels safe valued and ready to learn.

While academic success is a key priority, we are equally committed to developing confident, resilient young people who are well prepared for the next stage of their education and beyond. We want our children to leave Dean Field with positive memories, a belief in themselves and an understanding of the opportunities available to them. Underpinning this is our commitment to ensuring that our pupils develop the values and character needed to thrive in modern society.

Hello Dean Field Community!

My name is Miss Brambani, and I am proud to be the Deputy Headteacher at Dean Field Community Primary School.

I have been a primary school teacher for 14 years, 12 of which were spent at Beech Hill School, where I  was Assistant Headteacher for 5 years. Before qualifying as a teacher, I worked as a Teaching Assistant in a number of schools across the Bradford area. Over the course of my career, I have taught across all primary age phases and remain passionate about securing the very best outcomes for children through high-quality teaching and enriching experiences.

As a committed member of the Family of Learning Trust, I work closely with staff and children across our schools. At Dean Field, I lead on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Early Reading and Phonics, as well as Geography— all of which I thoroughly enjoy. I also oversee the foundation stage curriculum here Dean Field ensuring it meets the needs of every pupil and equips them with the skills to thrive in modern Britain.

I am incredibly proud to be part of such a fantastic team of staff and children here at Dean Field and look forward to continuing our journey together.

Warm regards,
Miss Brambani

Hello, my name is Miss Clay and I am the SENCO Dean Field. This is my ninth year of teaching and I began my career here at Dean Field in 2017 as a Newly Qualified Teacher. My teaching degree specialised in Early Years and Key Stage 1, and in 2024 I graduated my NASENCO (National Award for SEN Coordination) qualification.

This year, I am thrilled to say we are running a new class for some of our children with complex additional needs, after securing an ‘exceptional funding request’ from the local authority. My role is to teach in this hub Monday and Tuesday and to oversee provision for all of the children in school with additional needs the rest of the week.

As SENCO, I am committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported. I am passionate about ensuring that all pupils, regardless of their needs, have the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential. I work closely with staff, families, and external professionals to make sure the right support is in place so that every child can access learning and succeed.

Outside of school, my passion is animals. I have many pets and enjoy spending time with them, as well as being out in nature and going to concerts.

Hi, my name is Miss Fitzpatrick and I am the senior Early Years Practitioner in Antarctica Class. I have worked at Dean Field for 7 years now.

I have worked in Early Years for 15 years and I have enjoyed every minute, it is the most rewarding job. I hold a BA in Early Years and completed my studies at Huddersfield University, on Saturdays, so I could still work full time with the children. I have worked in different childcare settings, private nurseries and committee run playgroups, but a school Nursery (especially Dean Field) is the best by far!

When I’m not at school, I am a mummy to my lovely little boy. We are always out and about, finding new places to play and explore, painting, baking and having lots of fun.

Hi,

my name is Mrs Hussain and I currently teach year 6. This is my eighth year working as a teacher at Dean Field School. I trained at the University of Huddersfield and I knew I wanted to be a teacher from a young age!

Over the course of my teacher training, I worked in a few schools around Huddersfield but I spent most of my time working in schools in North Halifax. I have worked in schools in Illingworth and Bradshaw but Dean Field has been the best by far. The amazing children, families and staff make Dean Field a brilliant place to work. I enjoy every minute of the day as there is no better feeling than knowing I have made a difference!

At Dean Field, I am on the leadership team and I am the upper school phase leader. I have a teaching and learning responsibility for the personal development of our pupils. I ensure RE, PSHE, RSE and SMSC are taught well and are fully imbedded in our curriculum. I also lead English and it’s one if my favourite subjects to teach! As a school, we are working together to achieve the Rights Respecting School Award to show that we place the rights of a child at the heart of everything we do. So, I work with our School Council to actively promote children’s rights to ensure that all of our pupils are aware of their rights.

Outside of school I enjoy going to see films (especially Disney films), taking long walks and some retail therapy! I also enjoy reading mystery novels and other stories based on real life events.

Hello, I am Miss Lopuszniak and I currently teach year 5. I have been teaching for 9 years and this will be my 8th year at Dean Field.

I have loved every year being a teacher and I have taught in every year – lucky me! I lead maths and computing here at Dean Field which means I love to hear all about the maths and computing we are all learning within school or at home. Dean Field has been my favourite school to work for because of the lovely children I get to see every day. I enjoy watching them grow and become more independent each day.

Out of school, I enjoy spending time with my daughter Millie. As a family, we enjoy going on walks, going to see films at the cinema and seeing different live bands. I love all animals and visiting zoos. My favourite animal would be a fishing cat or a red panda (they are very cute). I also have a cat called Bear who is a tabby cat.

During the holidays, I love to visit Cornwall. My family and I stay in a town called Polzeath which is famous for surfing. If you see me around school, be sure to come and say hello!
Miss Lopuszniak

Hello, I am Miss Jagger and I am the Year 4 teacher. I started my teaching career at Dean Field as a student in 2019 and have worked in year 3, 4 and 5 throughout my career.

As well as being the year 4 class teacher, I am also the sport and health coordinator which is great for me as PE is one of my passions. I am also the lead of Science and Technology. Prior to being a teacher, I completed a degree in Secondary Physical Education and Sports Development which led me to my love of sports and health. I have worked for The Family of Learning Trust for 8 years and I enjoy working for such an amazing and supportive trust and school.

Out of school I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and going for long walks/hikes. My favourite sport to watch is Formula one and rugby league. I also like going to the cinema to watch movies especially Disney and Marvel films.

Hello! My name is Miss Lees, and I am the Year 3 teacher (Poland Class). This is my fifth year teaching at Dean Field and my fourth year working with Year 3.

In addition to my role as class teacher, I am also the Art and Music Lead. I’m passionate about promoting creativity across the school and love seeing children express themselves through these subjects. I particularly enjoy leading Dean Field’s Got Talent and running the school choir, which takes part in exciting events such as Young Voices and Voices Together.

What I love most about teaching is supporting children as they grow in confidence and independence each day. I also feel incredibly proud to be part of Dean Field as we all live by our school values which create a nurturing and inspiring environment where both staff and pupils can thrive.

Outside of school, I enjoy travelling, cooking, and spending time outdoors with my family.

Hello, I am Miss Cheetham, and I am the current Year 1 class teacher and history lead here at Dean Field.

I have taught at Dean Field for the last 2 years (1 year in Reception and 1 year in year 1). I also hold a BA in Early Years and before going into teaching I spent 15 years working in the Early Years sector.
I have a passion for phonics and history, and I look forward to taking on some fresh challenges and enhancing my professional development in these areas.
I feel very lucky to be part of the Dean Field community and endeavour to provide children with the stepping stones they need to become happy and confident members of society.

Out of school my favourite thing to do is spend time exploring the wonders of the world with my little girl, Nellie. I also enjoy going to the gym, swimming and above all, reading.

Hello, I am Mrs Mason and I am the Reception class teacher here at Dean Field. I have worked for the Family of Learning trust for 9 years and before becoming this year’s reception teacher I was lucky enough to lead the nursery provision here at Dean Field.

I hold a BA Hons degree in Early Years and have recently gained my qualification as an Early Year’s teacher. I have worked in the Early Years sector for the last 16 years and have a wealth of experience when it comes to meeting the individual needs of all children and supporting learning and development.

I feel privileged to spend every day with the children helping them learn and grow and Dean Field really is an amazing place to be.

When I’m not at school I am mummy to two beautiful little girls and we love to always be busy! You will usually find us in the park or at the seaside. We love been on holiday and making memories as a family.

Hello everyone! I am Mrs Plowman and I am one of the class teachers in Italy Class. I have been involved in the Education sector for over 15 years, working as a teacher, within a Senior Leadership Team, as an Early Years Co-ordinator, an Art subject lead, and as a student mentor for aspiring teachers. I have always wanted to be a teacher and can remember as a child spending hours playing ‘Schools’ in my room.

I have always been a firm believer that all children should enjoy coming to school, have enthusiastic teachers and feel a sense of pride, love and excitement towards their learning.

Out of school, I love spending time with my two wonderful children, I enjoy exploring new places, camping, reading, and partaking in anything that involves art, music, dancing and drama.

I am delighted to be joining the Dean Field Team and look forward to getting involved in all aspects of school life.

Hello! I’m Mrs Spindler, and I feel very lucky to be the Year 2 (Australia Class) teacher at Dean Field. This is my first year as a qualified teacher, having completed my teacher training here last year in Year 4. I already feel part of this wonderful school community and am proud to now teach my own class as part of the Family of Learning Trust.

Before teaching, I studied Music at the University of Nottingham and later worked in finance. I had always dreamed of becoming a teacher though. Taking the leap, I started working as a teaching assistant in a SEMH school- an incredible experience that confirmed my passion for education and inspired me to train as a teacher. Teaching is very special to me because I want to inspire children with a love of learning and creativity, and support them in becoming not only talented learners but also kind and confident members of society.

Alongside teaching Year 2, I help with the school choir, supporting performances at events such as Young Voices and Voices Together. I’ve also love mentoring performers for Dean Field’s Got Talent, encouraging children to grow in confidence through the creative and performing arts.

Outside of school, I enjoy singing and performing with local choirs, theatre groups, and bands, as well as walking in nature
