Family Engagement

At Dean Field School, we place a strong emphasis on family engagement and are committed to providing as many opportunities as possible for families to be actively involved in their children’s learning. Learning is shared daily through Seesaw where parents and carers are invited to like, comment on and celebrate their child’s achievements.

We offer a wide range of regular opportunities for families to be involved in school life, including:

  • Termly Stay and Read sessions
  • Half-termly Arts and Crafts Family Learning sessions
  • Our Annual Grandparents’ Day celebration
  • Our Annual Parents’ and Carers’ Half Term – providing families with opportunities to learn alongside their child
  • SEND Coffee Mornings
  • Adult Learning Sessions
  • Parent Curriculum Information Meetings
  • Our annual Sports Day
  • Times Tables Tea Party
  • Phonics Picnic
  • Singing Around the Christmas Tree
  • EYFS Stay and Play sessions
  • End-of-Year Assemblies
  • EYFS Graduation Ceremonies
  • Christmas Performances

Through these experiences, we aim to build strong partnerships with families and create a supportive, inclusive community that celebrates learning together.
